Film Review #2 Guardian's of the Galaxy
Okay, so I'm a comic book reader, a comicon and wondercon fanatic. I end up seeing Guardians of the Galaxy more than three times in the theatre and it was better and better each time. The film was full of CGI, special effects and great actors. I loved the second scene, SPOILER ALERT, where main character named Star Lord is arrived to an abandoned planet. The special effects were as always, amazing. Why, well because itćs Marvel. Hello people. The film was a great family movie, it made me laugh, sad, intrigued, alarmed, and excited. I'm a sucker for adventurous movies, and mythical out of this world slash sci fi genre when it comes to films, books, scripts, and things I watch.

What Is? Research - Assisgnment
The case I'm doing my assignment on is the S. Victor Whitmill vs. Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. One of the characters named Stu Price from the Hangover Part 2, woke up after a crazy night and found a tattoo wrapped around his left eye. The tattoo was tribal and just so 'happened' to be identical to the one Mike Tyson has. Mike Tyson's tattoo artist named S. Victor Whitmill filed a lawsuit against Warner Bros. Entertainment right before the movies opening. Because he had a copyright for the tribal tattoo artwork, he said that the use of his design in the movie and advertisements was copyright infrigement because Warner Bros never had his consent. Warner Bros. Entertainment saw it as a parody which is under fair use. Chief Judge Catherine of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri denied the lawsuit but said Whitmill still had a case. The court suggested to put a different tattoo on the character Stu Price's face when the movie is released on dvd, and such. In the end, Warner Bros and Whitmill came to closed door terms.
My opinion on the case Is pretty simple, the tattoo artist had his work copyrighted and perhaphs the expose that Hangover recieved triggered an actual response as to what might have happened if somekids made a video and uploaded it to youtube with the same tribal tattoo visible. Hangover was probably considered a 'parody' because it was so ridiculously hilarious but it's still an actual movie and not some actuall make fun of, of another film or piece of artwork.

Film Review #1 If I Stay
If I Stay
Me and my best friend Tashaila decided to go see If I Stay. I've read the books and they were absolutely stunning. The shots in the film were a lot of close up and mid shots. They were very bright, showing a happy tone until a tragic scene that I refuse to name because I don't want to spoil it for others. The whole story line was great and like my digital media teacher says, every shot should be a picture.
